Reconnecting with People

August 18, 2008

I ended up graduating in another state and school but I often thought the Internet might help me reconnect with friends from my past some day. Since the MySpace thing was of no help, one of the friends I found told me about a website that could bring me in contact with old friends again. I have also been able to find and reconnect with friends who I had a one time been very close with, but due to different circumstances lost touch with.

I’ve been looking forward to reconnect with my old classmates and friends both in high school and college. At a reunion, you discover that there are people you barely remember, or who have not been in your thoughts at all when you were in college, and they have become amazingly interesting while you were not looking. While finding old friends, you can reconnect with old high school and college classmates, make new business acquaintances, or just make new friends. There are friends from college or high school that I probably would never talk to, if not for this website or the web in general.

ThePeopleSearch.net can help you find high school alumni from any types of areas. This search engine can reconnect with the people and places that changed your life. I’ve been looking forward to reconnect with my old classmates and friends both in high school and college. After you click the link “Who’s searching for you?”, You can set up a profile and get emails when old friends, that haven’t signed up yet, do the same. These features will help past friends stay connected. You can just sign up just to find out if any of your classmates are as far in life as you are.

Come check it out and reconnect with friends. Reconnect with friends in a familiar location. Reconnect with friends or maybe even family that you love dearly but have lost touch with. A great way to reconnect with friends back home is to invite everyone to check it out as well. You not only get to reconnect with friends from a long-ago past, but also meet interesting people who you never really knew back then. Check out this online community and find out what your college roommate and classmates are doing.

High School Reunion

August 13, 2008

I was thinking about high school reunions and old times and here are some thoughts. Let me know what you think.

High School Reunion

High school reunions are usually organized by the respective schools’ elected class officers (president, vice president, etc. But even sometimes high school reunions get help organizing from volunteers of that graduating year. High school reunions are common practices in cultures not only here in the USA, but all over our world. High school reunions are gatherings held to reunited people who graduated on the same year or within a number of years. During this gathering, it gives old friends and class mates to play catch up since old time past. High school reunions are great especially if you have drastically changed from being the less liked person in high school to someone whose annual income is greater than most of the cooler kids and the bullies back in school. High school reunions are different from college reunions because the people from high school may be friends you grew up with from even before you started school. College reunions would have more people from different areas that wouldn’t relate as well. High school reunions are great events that take a lot of planning and coordination, but well worth attending.

A couple of times a year, you may get the urge to pull out your senior yearbook, and remember time with my former classmates from the past. Going to your first high school reunion , usually a ten year reunion, try to take steps to make it enjoyable. Rejoice in your classmates successes, commiserate in their sorrows and don’t worry about how you may measure up. While there, you may hear of classmates whose high school days changed their lives, shaped their future, launched them in pursuit of their passions and desires. You might end up calling your fellow classmates every day after attending your high school reunion, instead of your usual round of friends in the present.

High school reunions can be very precious memory making opportunity for you. High school reunions are the kind of events that inspire everyone to look back at where they’ve been and ponder where they might go from here on out. You may start to try to remember the times of what exactly your future might be when you were as a teenager. High school reunions are a way for people to try to figure out if the decisions you made back then were worth it. High school reunions may show you the importance of how you have changed over time. And planning high school reunions are easy, but there are web sites out there now that can make it even easier. I like to use the “Who’s Searching for YOU?” link at  ThePeopleSearch.net
